Welcome

Southwest Regional Development Corporation (SRDC) is working towards the long term economic growth of the southwestern corner of Manitoba. It is there to act as an advocate for that growth and to serve as a coordinator encouraging municipalities to work together to achieve common goals.

The corporation’s mission statement reads: "SRDC will promote regional economic cooperation in southwestern Manitoba."

Oak Lake Aeration Project

With recreational fishing seen as a very important component of local tourism, the goal of this project is to enhance the fish population in Oak Lake.
This is involves capital costs and therefore, granted SRDC funding on a two-thirds - one-third basis.

Grand West Manitoba

This impressive partnership of more than 24 municipal corporations are continuing their efforts to attract Albertans to Manitoba. This application marks the second phase of the intensive marketing campaign.

Abandoned Rail Line Development

This is a non-profit organization working to develop the old rail line into a year-round recreational trail.
